By accessing or using ReviseAI ("the Service") at revisy.org or via our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.
ReviseAI is an AI-powered revision tool that allows students to generate flashcards, summaries, audio lessons, quizzes, and study plans from their notes. The Service includes a spaced repetition system, essay marking, exam calendar, and progress tracking features. Certain features of the Service are powered by artificial intelligence ("AI Features"), including but not limited to flashcard generation, summaries, quiz creation, essay marking, and the Alfie AI tutor.
General use: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the non-AI features of the Service (such as manual flashcard review and progress tracking).
AI Features — users aged 18 and over: You must be at least 18 years old to use the AI Features of the Service without restriction. By ticking the age confirmation checkbox at registration, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
AI Features — users aged 16 or 17 (parental consent): If you are aged 16 or 17, you may access the AI Features of the Service provided that a parent or legal guardian has given their explicit consent. By selecting the parental consent option at registration and ticking the relevant confirmation, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms, understands that AI-generated content will be provided to you, and consents to your use of the AI Features. ReviseAI reserves the right to request evidence of parental consent at any time.
Users under 16: The AI Features are not available to users under the age of 16. If you are under 16, you may not use the AI Features of the Service.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable eligibility requirements. If ReviseAI becomes aware that a user does not meet these requirements, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate that user's access to AI Features or the Service as a whole.
You must register for an account to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at [email protected].
ReviseAI offers a free tier with full access to all features, supported by occasional ads shown between study sessions, and paid subscription plans (monthly, annual, and lifetime) that remove all advertisements. Paid plans are processed through Stripe and/or RevenueCat. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds are provided at our discretion and in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. Annual and lifetime plans are non-refundable after 14 days.
Free tier users have access to all features of the Service, supported by occasional ads displayed between study sessions. Pro subscribers enjoy the same features with no advertisements. We reserve the right to introduce fair-use generation limits at any time with reasonable notice. Circumventing any limits through technical means (e.g., creating multiple accounts) is prohibited and may result in account suspension.

You retain ownership of the notes and content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant ReviseAI a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to provide the Service to you.
The ReviseAI platform, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by ReviseAI and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.
Flashcards, summaries, essay feedback, and other AI-generated content are provided for educational assistance only. They may contain errors or inaccuracies. ReviseAI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content. You should always verify important information against authoritative sources and your course materials.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReviseAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or academic outcomes, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time for maintenance, updates, or other reasons. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
