ReviseAI is an AI-powered revision platform designed to make studying smarter, not harder. We combine spaced repetition, AI-generated flashcards, essay marking, exam planning, and social study tools into one seamless experience — so you can spend less time organising and more time actually learning.
Our Story
ReviseAI was founded by Max Brunner, a student who was frustrated with the gap between how revision tools worked and how students actually study. Most apps were either too rigid, too generic, or too time-consuming to set up — leaving students to fall back on passive re-reading and last-minute cramming.
The idea was simple: take the science of spaced repetition and active recall, wrap it in an AI layer that does the heavy lifting (generating flashcards, summarising notes, marking essays), and make it social enough that studying with friends feels natural. ReviseAI launched in early 2026 and has since grown to thousands of students across the UK and beyond.
What We Believe
Spaced repetition and active recall are the most effective study techniques known to cognitive science. Every feature we build is grounded in how memory actually works.
Generating flashcards, summarising notes, and marking essays should take seconds, not hours. AI should remove the friction of revision, not add to it.
Accountability, friendly competition, and sharing resources with classmates make revision stick. ReviseAI is built to be used together, not just alone.

Founder & CEOMax built ReviseAI to solve a problem he experienced first-hand as an A-Level student. He is passionate about education technology, cognitive science, and building products that genuinely improve people's lives. He runs ReviseAI full-time and is directly involved in every aspect of the product — from engineering to design to student support.

AI Study AssistantAlfie is ReviseAI's built-in AI tutor, available 24/7 to answer questions, explain concepts, quiz students, and keep them motivated. Powered by Gemini 2.5 Flash, Alfie knows each student's topics, streak, and upcoming exams — so every conversation is personalised.
